Três portas principais

Ler e imaginar são duas das três portas principais — a curiosidade é a terceira — por onde se acede ao conhecimento das coisas. Sem antes ter aberto de par em par as portas da imaginação, da curiosidade e da leitura — não esqueçamos que quem diz leitura diz estudo—, não se vai muito longe na compreensão do mundo e de si mesmo.

Τρεις κύριες πύλες
Το διάβασμα και η φαντασία είναι οι δύο απο τις τρείς κύριες πύλες – η τρίτη είναι η περιέργεια- απ’ όπου μπορεί κανείς να προσεγγίσει την γνώση των πραγμάτων. Αν δεν ανοίξουμε μια-μια τις πύλες της φαντασίας, της περιέργειας και του διαβάσματος –ας μην ξεχνάμε οτι όταν λέμε διάβασμα εννοούμε μελέτη-, δεν μπορούμε να πάμε μακρυά στην κατανόηση του κόσμου και του εαυτού μας.
Three principal doors
Reading and imagining are two of the three principal doors- curiosity is the third one- through which knowledge of things is accessed. Without opening one after the other the doors of imagination, of curiosity and of reading – let’s not forget that by reading we mean studying-, we cannot go far in the comprehension of the world and ourselves.
